One of our best meals in Croatia! This restaurant looks like a bit of a tourist trap but the food was excellent. Highly recommend the bussara plate - piled high with scampi, prawn and mussels. Great friendly service and a beautiful spot with great ocean views and some interesting people watching!

I would like to mention the delicious cuisine, especially the steaks (they are incredible there). Also seafood is also delicious. We tried national dish- “peka” ( it needs to order 1 day before). My point to this dish 5 stars, it was amazing. The service is fast and attentive to your wishes. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which creates a special atmosphere. I would like to express my special thanks to the administrators and waiters Luca and Ivan.

We had a fantastic dinner at Bistro Berlin! The dorada and seafood dish were absolutely delicious-fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The wine and beer selection complemented the meal perfectly. What really stood out was the service: incredibly polite, fast, and attentive. A warm and welcoming place we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Makarska! Ivo, the owner of the restaurant very kind and always keen to have a chat with his guest.

Memorable Dinner by the Sea! We had a truly fantastic dinner at Restaurant Berlin in Makarska. The setting was absolutely magical — right by the beach at sunset, with a soft sea breeze and golden light casting the perfect atmosphere. I was there with my three kids, and the entire evening felt relaxed, warm, and welcoming. The food was a real highlight. We ordered brisket, fall-off-the-bone pork ribs with a delicious peanut butter sauce, gnocchi with chicken and truffles, and a beautifully cooked fish served with guacamole. Every dish was full of flavour and thoughtfully prepared — the ribs and gnocchi especially stood out. The portion sizes were generous, and even the kids were impressed (which says a lot!). Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The staff made us feel completely at ease, and the timing between courses was just right. Highly recommended if you’re in Makarska and want a memorable meal by the sea. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Our final dinner in Makarska. We didn’t have a reservation, the restaurant was packed. They told us a table would be free in 10 minutes, and that’s exactly what happened. The food was fresh and tasty, and the house wine was good. But it’s not the kind of place you’d want to come back to a second or third time.

We came with friends for dinner. We really liked it! We ordered a fish plate for two, tuna fillet and Dorado fish. Each dish was very tasty! Special thanks to the waiter for changing my cocktail, because the first cocktail was very sweet

We went there almost every day. Not only is the food absolutely outstanding, but this restaurant also has the best sunsets in the entire bay. And the staff is very friendly, always ready to help you in any situation, whether it’s charging your phone or bringing a warm blanket on a cool evening.

The most incredible fish platter we’ve ever had! The waiter came over and explained the ‘normal’ fish plate was a little boring, and if we had his permission to upgrade it for a fee… and oh we are so glad we did! This was 10/10. The most amazing fish we’ve ever had. The presentation, flavour, everything was out of this world!
